FAQs
WHAT IS COI?
COI, aka The Culinary Order of the Interesting…, is a (not so) secret society of individuals who enjoy meeting new people and seek to broaden their social circle…even if just for a single enchanting evening.
The Order seeks to bring those of various backgrounds/passions together and unite them over a love of food, drink, and most importantly…scintillating conversation. We focus on three elements: location, food, and company.
We are the most inclusive exclusive club, and we encourage all who seek to expand their social horizons to join…as long as they are also kind and considerate of others.
WHERE AND WHEN DO THESE SUPPERS TAKE PLACE?
Each supper’s location is unveiled the week of the event to guests only! We work with some of Dublin’s coolest and most interesting venues, so each supper is bound to be memorable. Dates of events are primarily weeknights, but we will have some larger weekend events in the near future.
HOW MANY ATTENDEES WILL THERE BE?
Gatherings can be anywhere from 8-30 people. We will also host several larger events throughout the year that will really knock your socks off.
WHAT TYPE OF FOOD IS IT?
A bit of this, a dash of that.
Dietary restrictions can be accomodated, but as self-professed foodies, we hope guests will be open to anything and everything. Depending on the evening’s location and facilities, you might be looking at delectable tapas, fabulous catering from a local spot, or even a 3 course meal prepared by an award winning chef.
WHAT DOES IT COST TO ATTEND?
An evening with COI is truly more than a meal out. We like to think of it as a symposium of sorts. Our event prices will fluctuate based on location, but each invited guest will be informed of the cost before having to commit to the evening. You can expect somewhere between 50 - 100 per person, including all food, drinks, and perhaps even a little entertainment.
HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
We operate by referral, so chances are if you found us, you’ve already been referred by a member who thinks you’re COI-worthy.
